For now it'll be DL, he does actually have a booboo on his arm.

They probably aren't sure. It's all contingent. Maybe Peavy sucks even worse. Maybe someone else gets hurt. Maybe they put Tim in the pen, he's done well there.

First, we need to see how Cain and Peavy perform. Then we need to see if Vogey is able to continue putting up QSs in 2/3 of his games.

Huddy is the next to the DL (isn't he technically already on the bereavement list?).

Assuming Peavy and Cain are OK, and Vogey continue performing as a solid #4, there is no way Timmeh gets another start, at least of the non-emergency type. Of all the personalities involved, his is the best-suited to bully work.

I think he'll be back in some capacity for the rest of this season anyway. Beyond that maybe not.
