sign and trade to the Cavs for Kevin Love!

DAM... Yeah if he ended up in Cleveland with Lebron that would be DEADLY.... I"m sure the Cavs will make a play at him, like a lot of teams will... But I guess Durant openly said he prefers Golden State and they have the dinero to make that a reality....

Yep, will be a very interesting thing this offseason... I"m hoping he leaves, of course I'm a Sonics fan so you know how that is...

I hope that the Warriors will do your Sonics heart a favor and pry Durant away from OKC. It's ridiculous that Seattle doesn't have a team.

Why would he leave OKC? He'll get a max one year contract, and next year the salary cap goes up. He's not going anywhere is my guess.

I doubt any top FA will sign a long term deal with the Cavs moving forward knowing James already earned his free pass to leave (after next season)unless they have the same annual opt out.

what if OKC got another superstar?

Tough location to do that. Especially if KD is leaving because Westbrook made it known he is planning on the same next season. Yay, get to be the lone big star on a team that doesn't contend but likely isn't bad enough to get a top 3 pick in a small market.

I'm really torn on KD. I do think if Westbrook tells him yes or no (and doesn't hurt Westbrook, he'd be gone by mid-year next year if he made it known he was leaving in a trade) really decides that.

Before the playoffs I was leaning to him leaving. Seeing them go down in the 2nd round when just a few years earlier they were in the finals as their roster ages with not much cap space or FA draw is tough. But then they beat SA, pushed the Warriors to 7 games and are the legit #2 team in the West and that chasm looks smaller.

THis is too low. 100% chance he stays 1 more year. Then he could literally go anywhere. And he could coordinate with RW. Maybe they both go the Lakers or something. Maybe KD to GS then. But next year, OKC is the only choice.

It would make financial sense for him to stay in OKC for one more year but only a few million in NBA salary which could easily be recouped in a larger market.

Hard to say what will happen. One more attempt with OKC and then do this again next year? Go to another contender like GS? Big market like NY, LA? Hit the beaches with Miami? Go home to DC? Surprise team?

So many teams have the ability to offer him max. I expect him to receive many offers and he can pick and choose as he wants to?
