Okay...got you.

But, if you did get LeBron and George, you'd rather keep Lonzo over Kemba?

Good God, why?

Unless it cost you Ingram too....

For me, because there is still only 1 ball. Kemba likes to shoot, Lebron wants the ball, PG will want the ball, Ingram will want the ball...

Lonzo just wants to move the ball.

Imo, Kemba would work in that lineup if Lebron fully embraced playing like Magic did. Which he might be up for considering what he's had to do the past few years.

This.

I'd only trade Ball if we had to. I love his style of play.

So, this is what is considered reasonable talk in the superteam era? Lol, this kind of trade talk would get laughed off the internet in past years, even on a homer board.

Getting Lebron and George should be enough, especially if they both take just a little less than the max to allow the Lakers to keep Randle. The other guys are going to continue to get better, especially with Lebron and George drawing the focus of the defense. Randle, Ingram, Kuzma, Ball, Hart, maybe Bryant, and whomever they draft in a few weeks should be a very good core to add guys like George and Lebron to. If they don't come, continue to build with youth while maintaining that cap flexibility.

I wouldn't want to give up any youngsters for DeRozan. Maybe for Kemba (especially if Ingram isn't one of them) because of his contract.

But I'd only want to do that if they're certain they're getting Lebron and PG.
I kinda like the idea of a Kemba, Lonzo backcourt.

I see that working well.

Yeah, I get what you are saying about Derozan.

His contract is as bad as Conley, Batum.

They are good players. But, vastly overpaid.

Plus, Demar doesn't have any dog in him.

Nice kid. But, he would fucking crumble under the pressure.

They'd have to be able to get Kemba without giving up Ball or Ingram. I wonder if Kuzma and picks would be enough? Not sure of his situation with the Hornets.

Yeah, DeMar would definitely crumble. I wasn't that impressed with his toughness when he was at USC.

Plus, he's got that weird capital letter in the middle of his first name AND his last name. Imagine if LeBron's name was LeBron LeJames.

NOt sure if Kemba has been a killer for you all but every time he plays the Celts he lights it up. Way under rated IMO

Ingram should not be a deal breaker. Not for a real star.

Depends on the star. For a healthy Kawhi, for example, he shouldn't be.

For guys like DeRozan or Kemba, he should be.

I'm just not a fan of building these kids up only to be trade chips. I want their potential realized as Lakers, not elsewhere.

I don't get the fascination with DeRozan. He's an overpaid midrange shooter in a 3 pt shooting league.

Not surprised at all.

It's the Cavs or Lakers IMO.
It's the Cavs or 76ers...imo

I don't think he will come West.

Not even if you get George.

You'd need two guys for him to risk getting bounced before the Finals.

This asswhooping and the one he got in the Finals last year will keep him out lEAST.

I just don't see him staying with the Cavs.

It's possible that LeBron James would come to a team in the West if both of two conditions exist

1. There is no way he will ever be able to win a championship representing the Eastern Conference - The teams are two weak, none of them can build a super team and etc

2. He is convinced that coming to the West will get him past the Warriors.

This mentality would be called thinking outside the box - and personally I think the Houston Rockets would be the perfect fit for LeBron James. D'antoni loves the isolation play, and Hardin combined with CP# and LeBron James would be the big three that they had in Miami. Then there is consideration that the Rockets came closer to beating the Warriors then any other team has come
