McGee signs with the Lakers. Nice addition as the Lakers just dumped Thomas Bryant yesterday and they got McGee for the league minimum. Suddenly, Luke Walton has some serious assets to take that GS offense and turn it into a powerhouse!!

Lulz, at McGee being described as a serious asset. We Lakers fans are drunk on Lebron right now but let's not get carried away. McGee isn't a complete joke anymore but he's nothing more than a competent guy on limited minutes

McGee is a third string back up - Lance Stephenson - 1 year deal is not bad though - 9 ppg, 5 rebounds and 2 points is not bad - but he has been in the league a few years and there is no potential for him to get better in my opinion

Stephenson is weirdly only halfway decent with the Pacers. He has flat out sucked ass everywhere else he's played. I'm actually pretty skeptical on the signing. I would have much rather used it on a player like Luc Mbah A Moute, a 3 and D player with far less headaches to worry about. Would have preferred using that 12 mil KCP got on someone like JJ Redick as well but whatevs.

It's only 4.5 million for one year though - so He will be a back up guard to Kentavious Pope who already has been signed for one more year at 12 million.

The Lakers were like, “Hey, Lebron, wanna play for us?”

And Lebron was like, “I want to, but I really need a hard headed moron side kick at my side. It will be very hard to leave JR Smith in Cleveland.”

And the lakers be like, “Hey, Lance, wanna play for us with Lebron?”

And the rest is history.

Lebron and Kawhi on the Lakers is intriguing. I got a feeling the Rockets just took a backseat in the West. Lebron and Kawhi can provide the harden and Paul offense while checking harden and Paul.

Rockets lost Trevor Ariza and might lose Capella - so they will have to find some good players to replace them
