Latest from SeeBS is that LeBron is in LA to start the ball rolling and the Lakers are trying to get a draft pick from Denver moving Ball and the Deng contract to packaging a deal that features just Ingram and that Denver #1 for Kawhi. That's is a little better deal then the rumored entire kiddie corp and two number ones for Leonard just yesterday.

Also if Lonzo goes they'll need a starting point guard. Wouldn't surprise me if they went after CP3 then rather than Paul George

That Shaqdaddy, or re-sign IT which has been quietly left in the dust with all of the other FA talk.

Laker fans: Renouncing KCP, Frye, Andre Ingram, Lopez, IT & Wear, and waiving Deng gives them $58,879,980 cap room. Also renouncing Randle makes it $70,489,243. Bron + PG full max is $66,214,850.

The Lakers have already offered Randle an extension and PG is intimating he is staying in OKC. So, I am not sure what Larry Con is thinking of with that qoute DJ.

They made a qualifying offer of $5.6 million.

You think he'll accept it or try and get more? I think he's looking to make more after the season he had.

If LeBron signs within the next several days, do ya' think Randle is going to give it much thought, DJ? Let's see: Ring or money? Maybe!

Randle would be a fool to settle for 5.6 million. Fire his agent....LOL.

Dallas is focused on Jordan so they're out but some other team will throw 14-16 mill per season at him, if not more.

Lakers gave Randle a qualifying offer which makes him an RFA. That was going to happen regardless, unless they had NO interest in keeping him. He still can be renounced to clear cap space for max contracts if needed. If George re-signs in OKC, it probably won't be.

One story floated today has Randle headed to the Nets. Just FYI.

They are reportedly interested in him, but from what I've heard not at the max. So, if the Lakers don't have to renounce him, they should be easily able to match any offer sheet the Nets sign him to.

Yes to Lebron

No to the man that is coming off the worst injury a basketball player can have and one that like 85% never fully recover from

The Lakers made a qualifying offer to Randle. That was a procedural move that keeps him restricted and allows them to match offers from other teams. Had they not done that, he would be unrestricted.

They're just making sure they have the ability to keep him if need be.

From what I've read, he's actually doing really well in his recovery. Being young definitely helps too.

If he's close to where he was and it's a short term deal, I'm good with it.

I know this and it gives a lot of options as soon as the FA stuff dies down. Randle has been working out at the Lakers facility and I believe he'll be with the team in the fall.
