Love doesn't hold the same value as he did in the past at $24 mil per. Hill and Thompson are grossly overpaid.

That's true - but the Spurs aren't going to get full value any way and they might be better off then handing Leonard to the Lakers in their own conference.

No, they're better getting quality prospects and draft picks.

No they aren't.

But they need to get some value.

The ONLY piece Cleveland has that sA might want is Sexton. And even then, they may not value him as highly not as the Cavs do.

Sexton + mediocre to bad contracts isn't even enough to start a conversation.

Of course Cleveland will call and check in, but the spurs won't like the return unless the Cavs somehow get a 3rd team to take Love and give up the majority of the assets the Spurs would need. Not happening.

Spurs are going into rebuild as soon as they trade Kawhi. Why am I taking on Love for $50 mil over 2 years? I'd rather get young assets from the Lakers if I'm the Spurs. Hell, if you're going to take the lesser deal, take Boston/Philly up on what they're offering.

Well they told Lakersnation yesterday that they wanted to remain competitive and did not want to rebuild - Kevin Love would be competitive even though he is injury prone - Like I said before - I said it wasn't likely
