I said they would have to dump some salary - I don't suppose San Antonio would be willing to trade Kevin Love for Leonard?Cleveland has no cap space with or without Lebron.

I know it's highly unlikely - But knowing LeBron - He likes the teams to work hard to please him - He might be testing them to force some changes. Most likely no...
Big if, but if Cleveland could convince Paul George to sign, I think they might be able to talk LeBron to stay, but they would need to dump a lot of salaries to the point it would be a reload

See this is where the front office isn't stepping out of the box or moving the cheese. I would be on the phone seeing how to trade for Leonard - Clearly the Spurs do not want to trade in the Western Conference and that is good business, then talk to Paul George and LeBron and move heaven and earth to make it happen - That's what I would be doing because they will most likely never get another LeBron JamesOhh if PG came to Cleveland somwhow Lebron would stay in a heartbeat
I think they could give the Spurs a 2 for one swap - and a trade exception if that is still in the CBA to make the trade work.I heard the Cavs have trades in the works but 1. How much can you get with what they have 2. Will it be enough to please Lebron 3. Will it be enough to beat Boston, Philly and contend against GS

I agree - but If you are Cleveland - you should be trying to pull off a miracle -If George wants to play with Lebron, it would be in LA, not Cleveland.

Then trade some of the other players for first round or second round draft picks for next year so they can have the $$$ to offer Paul George something - if he says no - Then Kemba Walker?

Winning more titles is all he needs to do and getting the scoring record will be icing on the cake. Cleveland is home and always will be just like Wade and Miami

And who do you suppose is willing to do Cleveland any favors? To take on bad contracts, you want assets as well. Cleveland has two of those outside of Lebron (who's now a FA):
1) Kevin Love
2) Sexton
Lebron and Paul George surrounded by unathletic players is nowhere near enough to topple GS.
always DID put a premium on athleticism. surprised a lot of folks don't...
