The Sun Belt would have to scramble to fill in their schedules.
Easy, just add some teams from the Big12.
9 GAMES? That shit's for Quakers.
When is the Big 12 gonna sac up and play a conference championship? Stop with this bullshit CO-conference champion shit
I'd like 9 of those,This kind of sack?
How does adding teams from the Big 12 help you schedule 9 conf games and still have room for a November cupcake? Who would you add?
The scheduling is already "unbalanced" as far as difficulty goes. When it makes sense to do so, they will do so. But at present, it doesn't make much sense to have unbalanced scheduling.

Here's my question:
If 9 games is such a big deal, then why don't those conferences with 9 games have tougher schedules than those with only 8 games?
Even with only 8 games, the SEC easily tops the charts on SoS.

Toughest Big12 schedule: Oklahoma at #39 - and that's only because they played Ohio St and Houston.
There are 10 SEC teams and 9 ACC teams that have more difficult schedules than the #1 Big12 team.
I think maybe you should worry about getting a conference that has teams worth a shit before you worry about how many conference games everyone else is playing. Your 9 conference games seems to make your schedules weaker, not stronger.
Btw, after Oklahoma @ #39, the next Big12 team is #52 Kansas.
In between those 2, you have 3 more SEC teams and 1 more ACC team.
That leaves only 1 more SEC team left in the conference, which is Florida @ #57.
So all 14 SEC teams rank higher in SoS than the #3 Big12 team - #59 Kansas St.
How about Texas, the team of the fan crying about November games?

You answered your own question, thank you. SEC schedules are ranked higher because you guys play 1 less game against each other, so that's 7 less losses in the league, meaning better rankings. The Big 12, Big ten, and PAC 12 all play 9 conf games so the leagues take more losses.
That's a little too honest, in my opinion. You're not going to be popular!
