Before the season? They resigned him Two years ago. He is on year TWO of his four year contract. AND there were tons of tards that were excited and used clownish responses like "who else will play short?", "he was an MVP!", "no one else out there is better!", and "the team can afford it!"

I don't know what you are talking about. We all know stats sky rocket once a player turns 35. Also, knees perform remarkably better. Injury prone players become rock solid after 35. It's all proven.
