His only game is to drive headlong into the paint and the occasional fade away. Teams have him figured out already, he has more minuses than pluses at this point. He doesn't dedicated enough of his energy to defense but he could end up being a good defender if focuses on it more. With his incredible wing span I thought he would be a good defender already.
You apparently don't watch the games then, because he is a good defender. But, he has the upside to be great.

He's 20 and in his first full season in the league (mostly d-league last year).

He has moments where he pokes away the ball but he has trouble staying in front of his man. If he was good defensively, Vogel wouldn't hesitate to play him more.

Pretty good sample size with the Cavs to get a pretty decent contract in the offseason.

He will get paid but not near as much as he did last time imo

I'd rather give more minutes to AC, he's better defensively and isn't a black hole.
THT is a black hole? You realize AC and THT both average 2.6apg, right?

Not to mention THT averages more ppg in fewer mpg and shoots a better FG %.

He can't play 48. He played 28 to THT's 21 and just came back Sunday night.

I'd rather use KCP instead with Gasol to faciliate the offense when AC needs a blow. THT can be used occasionally early in the game but I hate seeing him in the 4th quarter when his mistakes are magnified.

Do you watch the games? He's constantly probing the paint to create a shot for himself.

LOL at ballhog. Yes, I do watch the games.

With AD and James out....they needed scoring, moron.

If he was getting better at scoring, I'd agree with you but he's getting worse and he's holding up the ball additionally. He was taking the ball out of Schroder's hands when AD and LBJ were out, how's that helping the scoring, dipshit?

I don't know about all that. The Lakers are concerned with the playoffs, not Drummond's marketability. If anything, Drummond's depressed value makes it easier to bring him back next season.

Drummond has been the new guy, so he needs the minutes to get acclimated. All of the Lakers' bigs have weaknesses (Harrell's size/perimeter game, Gasol's age/mobility, Drummond's perimeter game, etc), so it becomes more about who gets hot once everyone is on the same page. Drummond has been putting up some solid numbers. When it gets to the playoffs and AD starts playing more center (and hopefully Lebron is healthy enough to play), all of these guys (and Morris) will have to settle for less minutes.

Drummond had multiple suitors and was expected to go to the Nets. Why did he chose to go to LA? What assurances was he given by Vogel? None of us have any way of knowing but the notion that he went hat in hand to the Lakers ignores reality.

I'm sure that Vogel gave him no assurances about playoffs minutes but I think it is entirely reasonable to believe that he did give him a commitment about the regular season.

Not if he winds up riding pine for the rest of the season. Then he becomes "good stats/bad team" guy. The market for players like that isn't great.

I think he can get anywhere from 8-12 million per year.
