However, this forum is uh... interesting. lol

There's fleeting moments of good football talk, but probably more bull shit than anything. I do most of my Bears talk on a different Bears forum. There was once a good community here, before a lot of good posters fell off over time and trolls like BS/Ice began to run amok. A lot of the posters remaining are also "enemies"... which doesn't help. I've had more than my fair share of bouts. haha

Perhaps we could build this backup into a good product, though.

Well, I was actually doing research and aggregating some info on punters. For shits and giggles, this is a tremendous punting class based on the data I am hearing and seeing from others.

I like to think of my predictions as solidly mediocre.

However, I'd have a hard time sitting here and pretending not to hope that AI gets trapped in a house-fire. lol

BS is an issue that would go away if we all collectively ignored him. However, for some reason... I have yet to see that approach work out with a message board troll. As in, ever. In my life. lol... People always feed the troll.

I hear you. If you do ignore him, he tries harder to sucker you in. It’s almost a cry for help. When we had our differences, he was trying to egg it on further. Not taking the bait neutralizes him and he disappears for a while. He will always come back, but the less satisfaction we give him, the less time he spends on here, and the discussion improves immensely.

On a side note, are you stoked for the combine stats to start coming in? It’ll be nice to see who drops and who rises in the draft this year. This draft is a huge one for the bears. It might be our last time picking in the top ten for a while. Hopefully we can turn it into a playmaker on O or D.

No doubt. I think all of the big contract vets we're cutting loose is to free up some cash for a good amount of spending in free agency as well. It should be a very exciting off-season.

Freed up like $21 Million with the releases of McPhee, Demps and Napolean Dynamite...

Man, I am trying SO hard not to get overly excited, but... New offensive minded coach, kept Fangio, cap space, QB position settled... Only way we could ruin it (to me) is if we go out and massively over pay for a guy like Watkins or something (Someone who has shown flashes, but mostly gets pub for his college years and "talent"...). We uncork some 4 year $50 Million dollar deal for a twerp like him and I'll go back under my Bears Fan Rock...
