OKST barely had an overall schedule tougher than Alabama, and not everyone even had OKST schedule as better.

And for the record, "Bama" didn't make any arguments other than being the best team. Voters from around the country put Alabama in that game.

No ESPIN put Bama in with their 1/2 hour crying fest they gave Saban

Of course we know how a 3 way tiebreaker works.

Oklahoma plays a HOME and NEUTRAL game
Texas Tech plays a HOME and ROAD game
Texas plays a NEUTRAL and ROAD game

The tiebreaker goes to the team who did not play a road game...over the team that did not play a home game.

Its tiebreaker 101

And you lost to Tech who OU beat by 50.

Yes, because a common opponent is much more significant than a head to head game.

What does that have to do with a 3-way tie???? Nothing.

The BCS standing is what determined who the South Division Champion was going to be. The Coaches knew how it worked and they gave Oklahoma the nod over Texas and Texas Tech.

And ever since, Texas fans have been all butt hurt about the fact that they just don't get the love that Oklahoma gets. Mack even goes out and hires a so called "BCS Expert" to come in and evaluate the problem and give him solutions. The solution????? SCHEDULE BETTER!!! WELL, NO SHIT.... Which Texas has ever since. It really doesn't take an Einstein to figure it out.

There was the year OU won. They played 1 loss FSU.
FSU lost to 1 loss Miami
Who lost to 1 loss Washington
Vt had 1 loss
Oregon State had 1 loss

You had Nebraska getting curb stomped by Miami. That loss was only slightly worse than the beating Colorado gave them. Colorado won the Big 12 north. Oregon went on to crush Colorado. They were jammed.

Bama v LSU

2 loss LSU is likely in the mix. Lots of teams you could argue for

Auburn left out.

There are very few years that it was clear that the 2 best teams played for the title.

They got in, because OU lost earlier in the season. Had 0 to do with SOS. Both scheduled 3 mid-majors and a AQ school. Texas played 5 win Arkansas and OU played 0 win Washington. No need to get your panties in a bunch. I am merely pointing out a head to head win is much better evidence to measure teams, than a common opponent. Let me know if you disagree with that?

2008 Oklahoma over Texas. It was so silly since Texas literally beat them on a neutral field by 10, just like Florida ended up doing to win the natl title.

Here we go again. 39-33 holds as much weight as 45-35 does. Oklahoma won the conference on the tie-breaker and deserved the shot. If you're going to take an also ran over a champion then you should just get rid of conferences all together.

Do you even Internet, son?

Never understood intentionally misspelling words. It's one thing to abbreviate a word, but what's the pt if it is the same amount of keystrokes? I misspell enough with these sausage fingers, I see no need to intentionally look ignorant.

His pt is the tie-breaker was decided by voters not on the field. Just another one of those unwritten BCS rules. He who loses last is out.

The solution isn't to improve the OOC schedule, it's to run up the score, which Mack rarely did and Stoops does.
FWIW I have no problem with teams running up the score.
