Looks like the Bengals are finally chasing some extra income. Hopefully they keep Paul Brown Stadium in the name, but it's looking like we're going corporate. Lets try to guess the new name.... Lets start with wrong answers only.

Heinz Field at Paul Brown Stadium. Makes sense - Heinz is available.... The Steelers have only lost like 4 or 5 times at PBS since its opened.

On a related note, but not on guessing names:

I think this is the 1st big move into knowing just how much they are going to have to guarantee Higgins/Chase/Burrow when the attempt to sign all 3. Teams are required to have any future guarantees in escrow to a certain amount. Considering what WR/QB contracts are going for, and how much guarantees are being increased - small market teams are going to have to find ways to get more revenue/cash on hand to hold against these contracts.

That is exactly what I thought this morning when I had my morning news from my phone come on and wake me up. I was laying there thinking, okay, finally the team is attractive enough to make some real money on naming rights, and now Mike can just say, here is the amount I need to give to Burrow. So advertiser, just give your money to Burrow and we will call it even.

I agree 100%. Cash-poor teams are going to be strapped by the escrow requirement. I feel like that provision must have been put in place to discourage owners from offering guarantees. Almost a way for owners to protect themselves against themselves. But the problem is that now we have owners that have extreme wealth from other sources. Liquid assets aren't as difficult to come by for some of these guys.
