The name comes from my favorite character from the world of Shannara (Terry Brooks books).
Mine is pretty complicated. The c stands for confidence, the d stands for dynamite, the u stands for unique, the m stands for magical...And ok that is where it runs out. Essentially it comes from ESPN where they gave a name recommendation and this is what they recommended and I was too lazy to change it.
Sorry
Thought this was a general board topic
Didn't mean to invade your team board.

The books are very well written. The story portrayed in the series was basically "Elfstones of Shannara". I will say this: the series emphasizes the "post apocalyptic" traits of the story more than the books do. The books also don't spend as much effort on the relationship aspect as the series does. I liked the books and the series for what they were. There are many fans that would say the books are far superior though.I just watched the first season of Shananara on Netflix... It was interesting. How do the books rate?
My first car was a 1979 Mercury Monarch, which was often confused for a Ford Grenada. It was 1976. A rural community, free of crime... Until the man in chartreuse showed up.
Long story short, he stole my Granada. As he drove off, I yelled at him "Like Granadas, Motherf***er?!?!?!
And LGM was born.
And why do you pick on the two old guys saying out memory banks are full??Pretty sure I have told this story about 7 and a half million times, but I'm not sure if I have told it here at the hoop, so I guess I will do it once more. Plus, guys like Mingo and Springer have probably forgotten it since the last time I told it.
So, I broke my femur in college and that became my fraternity nickname. Once I healed up, we played floor hockey and decided to add "ov" at the end of all of our nicknames on the jersey to emulate the russian line that Detroit had put together at the time (mid 90s). When I originally signed up for some message board back when I was getting into that sort of thing, I tried using "femur", and someone already used that. Instead of putting some random numbers behind it, I figured I would add the "ov" and try that out. Voila! My online persona was born.
