Aaron Rodgers has looked like total crap for 5 weeks now. His team is 1-4 over that span(losing some really bad games at home, too). His rating is also below 80 over that period. His completion percentage is below 55%. How is he just immune to criticism on this board? Can anyone imagine the fallout if Brady had a similar stretch?

My guess would be that GB fans aren't chest thumping, starting thread after thread about him... That's probably a big reason...

Rookie receiver Ty Montgomery goes down with a high ankle sprain in the first half of the Chargers game. With him still in the game the Packers were moving up and down the field scoring points. He leaves the game with high ankle sprain injury and they dont get a first down in their next 3 series. They also lose 4 of the next 5 games. He is still not back and has not practiced for Thursdays game.

This is a team game. Rodgers has not had his best of games this season but there are a variety of reasons for that which have been mentioned already in this thread. For one to just go out and say the Packers have lost 4 of 5 because Rodgers skill set has deteriorated has not watched football or does not know much about football.

The question is if they can somehow put things together and consistently play dominant like the recent Vikings game in time to make the playoffs. Again 2 of the losses were to teams that were undefeated at the time. The other 2 games I could name like 2 or 3 plays going the other way and they win the game so it is not like they are getting their ass kicked.

How the season moves on from here only time will tell. I know as a fan that on any week they can beat any team in the league. I also know that at any time they can now lose to most any team in the league. It just depends which team shows up and if the players heads are on straight.

the offensive line has pretty much played like shit all season.
Don't get carried away. I thought Seattle got the trophy for lamest of the lame OL's.

And I don't see thread after thread by people who hate Rodgers, either. It's a 2-way street.

Seems that Mr. Brady has had shit for an OL all year, but he gets hammered in here on a daily basis.

A rotating cast of no-names on that OL all year. I think last night was the first time they had the real unit together? But we aren't allowed to use that as an excuse if Brady plays poorly.

You're right, Troy Aikman sucks.
Aikman was one of the best to ever play the game, too bad the concussions ended his career prematurely.

No and yes.

Seriously, Aikman's best attribute was his ability to hand the ball off cleanly.

It seems to me that most Dallas fans don't rate Aikman that high.
On the contrary, most Cowboys fans have a high regard for Aikman.

Yep. Put up a compare Aikman to Staubach thread and Roger gets plenty 'plause. In fact, all the 'plause.
Roger Staubach was the first great Cowboys QB and is revered by Cowboys fans much like Colts fans love Johnny Unitas and Packers fans idolize Bart Starr.
