I think that is a reasonable post, and I'd be surprised to find myself beating my chest about the Indians being the best team that didn't win the World Series, because being the champions is the ultimate goal.

The flip side of that, and what my point is, is that I'd be surprised to find myself talking about how the Indians were the best team in baseball just because they won a championship. They'd be the champs, and that would be enough for me.
