Seems about proper value for a solid pass rusher who extremely cheap the next two years to me.

He's really an OLB now. He's cheap this year, but his 5th year option is due to pay him 7 million which I think is why seattle is shopping him. I hope your right though.

Mariota is going #2. There is a small possibility the Rams trade up for Williams and then trade away Brockers but not to #2

I don't think it will happen either, but I find it interesting that we're inquiring to move up considering the O-line problems.

If the Ram's inquired to move up, they did so to see what it would take to get Mariota. No way a team like them gives up what it takes to get up the that spot and then passes on a QB.

I have no idea what the rules are in that regard but that certainly seems like a good solution for everyone.
Here's a bit more info

Well it is the uncertainty part of it all. Let's say somebody uses a 1st round pick on him then a week later police find evidence that he should be the suspect in the murder of the woman. Then you pretty much have lost that 1st round pick to the court system for the next 2 years. Now because of that some teams have just said we want nothing to do with this kid just in case something like that does happen. The whole Hernandez situation seems to be hurting him more than anything.

Now me personally I would go ahead and use a 2nd round pick on him. He is still a top-15 talent and while yes there is a small chance that something happens badly for him he is still a top-15 talent on most boards. To me that is worth taking a risk on.

I don't disagree, but you said undrafted. That is what I disagreed with. It could happen, but I don't think so

I would be SHOCKED if ATL offered 42..... If thats the case JS/PC would pull their groins running to accept it.

That's the scuttlebutt here...#42 is/was on the table...who knows if it's really true though. FWIW...I agree with you...SEA should be running to table to take with Irvin being a FA after this year.

As mentioned, without a longer term deal in place for Irvin...ATL would be looney to make that deal.

Someone mentioned on one of the seattle boards a Irvin and our second rounder 63 for atlantas second 42.... I would even do that honestly. I cant imagine a straight 2 for irvin, but would love it. but I didn't think seattle would figure a way to trade for graham so who knows.

Well his agent is trying to get his name taken out of this draft and put into the supplemental draft just so he has some time to clear his name because he is dropping like crazy. Now yes I do think he will be drafted by somebody. Too much talent to not use a late round flyer on but definitely looks like 1st round maybe 2nd round is for sure out now for the kid. Sad to see especially if he is innocent.

Smart move by his agent... the NFL should allow it, IMO. If he truly can clear his name... he should have a shot at getting drafted in the round he would've been drafted in.

The way that the supplemental draft works he could still be a 1st round draft pick.

NFL has ruled that he's staying in the draft.

Wow truly sad for the kid IF he is completely innocent in this whole thing. A friend of his has their life taken, and his dream is getting ripped away.

If there is a early run on DE/OLBs after the QBs go, Atlanta may not get who they covet at that position and draft another position. They would be highly motivated buyers at that point going into day 2. Atlanta needs a bunch of pass rush help. It's one of their top needs right now. They got nothing.

Nothing is right.

ATL will go as deep as Dupree on the edge rushers I think before they pull off that position...and I would not be surprised to see them trade into the bottom of the draft if Gregory, or Ray slips into the late 20s.

If Irvin had more years on his contract this would be a no brainer.

Not much going on yet. I hope there is a little action during the draft. I hope my team is one of those teams making a move.
