I saw it imediately as well, and instantly grabbed the remote to see it again.

Looking at that still, I am shocked I noticed it. It is very hard to see.

I kinda have been looking for it since the series started lol

Oh my god, what an episode. This answered SO MANY QUESTIONS and opened up a door (hehe) of possibilities.

"What door". My god I got chills.

I thought early on that Bernard may have been a Host. This episode confirmed that, but it got me thinking. Is Bernard Arnold? A recreated version of Arnold? It totally fits! That basement we saw this episode was the same room from earlier in the season when "Bernard" was interviewing Dolores. Well, I'm thinking that was human Arnold 30+ years ago. When he interviews there Dolores, she's totally clothed. Ford has the employees interview Hosts naked as to perceive them as not human. Arnold was known to become too close to the Hosts, treating them like humans.

Also, when Arnold shows Bernard this picture of Ford and Ford's, we are getting that from Bernard's perspective. Obviously, it looks like there should have been a 3rd person. Now we know that it was probably Arnold and Bernard cannot see himself in that picture because he's not programmed to!

It has to be a Host version of Arnold. Has to be.

Just shows how in complete control Ford is. Wonder how many of his employees he has had killed and replaced by Hosts.

Hopkins is amazing. I love how you can't discern whether he is good or bad. This show is excellent.

I thought ol' Anthony was an bad motor scooter a couple episodes back. The real question as it concerns the humans is who will turn out to be the most bad. Ford, the man in black, or some corporation rep. The good guys clearly are the robots. Or as they are referred to, the hosts.

Thandie Newton as Maeve has been the shit to me. While it may ultimately be revealed she's been controlled by Arnold or Ford all along. As of right now, she seems to have come to her new experiences all on her own.

Just watched the first episode. Ok, but nothing awesome when compared to HBO's other flagstaff programs. Does it get increasingly better?

It's a different kind of show than most of the other's on HBO I've seen, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's confusing and vague on purpose so far, but it allows for a ton of interpretation. It's along the same lines as LOST (not plot-wise, just how the show is developing).

This latest episode (7) finally dropped some truth bombs on us.

I'm definitely loving the show right now. I was saddened when Person of Interest went away this past year (though perhaps lifecycle wise it ended when it needed to), as it was easily my favorite network show. People always talk about Christopher Nolan, but his brother is right along for those rides in most cases writing and has done some great things by himself. Glad to see a retelling or continuation of the movie landing so well, along with the exploration into AI and its ramifications in the world he was building on POI.

I came back to it and now I'm caught up. That last episode was great!

So when Hopkins said something like "remember, all of this was created by me... all of it". Does that mean he never had the partner?

I don't think so. But with the way this has gone so far I am not making any predictions. Sunday's surprise was all kinds of wow.

I think he had a partner. What happened to him is the real question. I think we are seeing time-jumps and it is almost impossible to discern, due to the hosts not aging/changing in appearance.

Someone mentioned earlier that maybe Bernard IS Arnold, or a re-creation of him.

It stands to reason, that Hopkins could easily kill whoever stands in his way, and just recreate them. I would venture to bet, that the host that was being built there when Bernard killed her(can't think of her name) is going to be HER.

The show is awesome, that much is certain. Might be the best assembly of actors, of ANY show, or movie, EVER.

Every other series I've ever watched, there has always been at least one actor that sucked bawls or is just annoying af.

This show is stacked with incredible actors, right down to the minor characters.

It could end up being the best series I've ever watched.

FYI

11/14: HBO has renewed Westworld, Insecure, and Divorce. All three new programs will return for a 2nd season next year (though there's a chance Westworld could be delayed until 2018).
