Michael Crichton wrote the novel Westworld, about a high tech amusement park for affluent folks which has problems/glitches, resulting in many guests & employees being killed by the park attractions (robots).

Years later, Michael Crichton re-wrote the same basic story in another novel... this time using dinosaurs in his best seller Jurassic Park.

the 2 other resorts in the movie were Roman World, and Medieval World.

of course a programming malfunction creates murderous robots.

Westworld was not that good in its premier. cgi was the best part.... And that wont carry it to must watch status. We'll see how the next few episodes go.

I haven't watched it yet, hell, I didn't even know it was premiering last night, but had it set up to record a for a while now. The previews were the shit though.
