Definitely unexpected.

But those Clipper teams were deeply flawed.

And the Rockets had to play the KD Warriors.

I hope Harden realizes what a mistake he made. Had he embraced the partnership with CP3, he might have a ring today.
Trust me he does not, brain cells are few with that guy

They had such a good thing going in Houston.

Still boggles my mind they blew that team up. The ONLY team to beat them was an all time great Warrior squad.

Keep it together. Put the petty squabbles aside.

It doesn't take a super team to win chips. I mean, it'll definitely help ur chances. But a nice balanced starting 5 like the Suns will get you very close

PG made 6 of 15 shots.

5 of his last 7 games were just below average shooting games.

This right here. Wherever CP3 has gone, his teams have been immensely better. When he's gone, teams crumble.

Hard to see him staying at this point.

Maybe I am wrong, but man. Those 2 years can’t be viewed as anything but failure.

We were talking about arguably the best 1-2 punch in the league (sans Lebron and AD); at the time, Kawhi was arguably considered the best 2-way player in the league. But yeah, given the hype, if Kawhi leaves it's an absolute failure.

Sparking up a separate discussion as it relates to CP3, Devin Booker is the best player on the Suns. But CP3 is definitely an important piece on this team. As it relates to all-time, anyone have disagreement on him being the 2nd best PG next to Magic. I consider his body of work over his career, and it's definitely impressive. Magic would obviously be #1.

I knew there was something about CP3 I didn't like!

Yeah, that's kind of a tough one. After Magic, I think there are a few who could have a strong argument for #2 all time. Isaiah Thomas (the real one), Nash, Stockton, Kidd, Steph could be in the convo depending on if one considers him a point guard or shooting guard. CP has as strong a case as any of them, imo.

Yeah everyone sees something a little different but those are the names. I think Stockton is as solid at 2 as Magic is at 1 for instance.

Forgot about Steph. He's tricky because he's a great scorer and considered the best all-time shooter. But CP3 hasn't had the supporting cast that Steph has had when we start bringing up accolades. Both players are also considerably different in terms of skillset.
