He earned his salary for this season last night. He earned the new 3 year contract he will be getting
This.Patrick Beverly. An asshole in high tops. What he did to CP3 was totally uncalled for, talk about losing your cool. This won't happen but I hope the league fines him 100,000 for his outta line action.
It sounds like he is likely going to turn down his player option and sign a 3 year deal in Phoenix. I don’t know why he would go anywhere else.He earned his salary for this season last night.
I wonder if he'll opt to stay in Phoenix or leave for another team....the Suns are built to be around for a while with Booker, Ayton and co.
He is going to wear out his welcome soon. If he could pull himself back and just be a pain in the ass he can be valuable. But last night was over the top, and stupid.Patrick Beverly. It's been a long time since I posted for various reasons. However, I felt I had to give props to the Suns. Very happy for CP3, but the work is not done. 4 more games to go.
You can say what you want about injuries, but the Suns have beat the teams in front of them pretty handily also dealing with their own injuries. When they show up and play like they are supposed to, they are capable of beating any team at full strength.
I do have one question...
Why does @bksballer89 hate the Suns so much? As I was reading through all the series threads, he picked against the Suns in every series not really giving them much of a chance. Maybe the Suns have been emptying his pockets in the gambling arena.
Go Suns!

Yeah, not to make excuses for him, but I'd be willing to bet that he was reacting to something CP3 said. He's a highly emotional player who is in the league because he made himself valuable by bringing a lot of "attitude" and basically being "that guy that you hate to play against, but love playing with".Patrick Beverly. Sometimes those types of players can take it a step too far. Hopefully he'll get a hefty fine and maybe have to sit a few games at the start of next season.
Agree with @thunderc he needs to go back to concentrate on just being a pain in the ass instead of an asshole.
Definitely over the top last night.
But there is always a role for competitors like Beverly. He is the pain in the ass you want on your side, not playing against.
Maybe, but the Suns can run with any team. I have gotten a little sour on the NBA in past years because of the super team mentality. When you invest all your capital in 2 or 3 guys and don't build a solid bench, one or two injuries will doom you.To be fair, I don't think it's about hating the Suns. They are where they are because they got a lot of injury help. If AD and Lebron are healthy, they likely don't get out of the first round. They just beat a Clippers team without their best player.
Not saying the Suns aren't good, they are. But in a completely healthy Western Conference, they're likely a 4 or 5 seed instead of a 2 seed.
Sure Beverly's a pain in the ass. But I'd still want him on my team. It's like Dray. Another pain the ass I'd want on my team as well.
might be headed to opt-out city...
I smell a "Pandemic P". Reference brewing here...PG made 6 of 15 shots.
5 of his last 7 games were just below average shooting games.
i've always hated his trash talking, monkey ass...He is going to wear out his welcome soon. If he could pull himself back and just be a pain in the ass he can be valuable. But last night was over the top, and stupid.
