So Oilers basically get jobbed on the offside then get a penalty which results in a PP goal. Nice job refs. Basically a two goal offsides no-call.

Watch for the refs to call a quick penalty on the Avs out of guilt. That'll be their way of putting a band aid on it.

Good job McJesus, run a guy into your goalie's head.

So by this standard players can carry the puck over the blueline offside as long as they lift their stick off the puck for one or two strides while their buddy clears the zone before they touch it again. Well, I've never seen that before and I bet I never see it again. Every time you see that play again it'll be called offside is my bet.

This reminds me of the Flames series against the Avs a few years ago. The Oilers are getting turnstiled.

Oh, by the way Jonesy and Koharsky.

Goalies DO have chin straps. There is a chin cup there too that acts as a shock absorber. It's not designed to keep a goalie's helmet in one particular place because due to angles of eye lines, sometimes the helmet is in the way. You need to have movement of your head inside the helmet to be able to see the puck at all times. Also, the helmet moving somewhat helps dissipate energy from shots. Keeping it locked in place injures more goalies.

Long story short - donuts, etc. Both y'all fuck off.
