Hey Connor, with Kane out, you gotta play more minutes. Okay?

Also, Don Taylor bending over backwards defending Kane on Donnie & Dhali this morning - Wondering how much Kadri's past transgressions came into Kane's thinking?!? Hey Donnie, just because he's a Vancouver guy doesn't mean you have to rush to his defense?

I don't listen to sports radio, but even in the two minute twitter clips I watch on the twitterverse, Donnie has become pretty constantly insufferable.

Sometimes I wonder if he's just doing it to create discussion, which I guess is okay (tv can be boring if everybody is agreeing all the time). If that's his actual take, though, it's a piss poor one.

90% of segments

Rick: speaking to an agent, I'm hearing some rumblings about .......
Donnie: so hold on a sec, so you're telling me -------- some tangent item that is four steps and a giant leap removed -----------
Rick: That's not what I'm saying, Donnie.

somehow this turns into a 5 minute segment, until someone mentions something that could be construed as a dick joke, and they all lose their shit.

just garbage

That is spot on, puck. The other thing I will add is I was hoping this show might highlight and feature more local sports in the province as well as sports that don't get much air time, but it's mainly Canucks talk with a sprinkling of Lions and Whitecaps. I know Taylor hates everything from Toronto, but the Jays are on a heater and there's no MLB talk at all on this show.

Agree with your first point in that they havent highlighted local sports other than hockey … they talk alot of bchl and whl … but good god to your second point :L … if you have telus you can go to sportsnet channels 911 through 921 and engorge yourself on that all day blue jay diarrhea

lol - I just have a little chuckle to myself when Don Taylor signs off each show with "And you're all caught up with what's happening in sports". Hey, I'd even appreciate a little Mariners coverage (or at least equal to the coverage the Seahawks get during the NFL season).

Does taylor still say that?

Rogers has sufficiently conned people for years out here that a toronto baseball team is who they should cheer for so donnie and dhali probably would be talking to ghosts if they brought up mariners. And all they really “know” is hockey anyways
