So if they get swept does McDavid consider this year a step forward? Kane is not going to play for minimum again and Smith is a train wreck.. any trade thins out what little depth they have ..

Nurse 9.25 shmill per season is going to be the worst contract in the league if it isn't already. This was the year and it's all crashing down in spectacular fashion. It's a shame, a damn shame.

The intermission segments have been so bad that I no longer watch them.

Let me just add that Kadri leaving the arena with a cast on his arm and Kane not getting tossed from last night's game just is one more indictment on the officials of this league. Oilers fans claiming that they are getting no breaks from the league while it appears that one of their player's actions has led to an opposing player breaking his arm.

OIlers fans are too busy talking about Kadri fake hurt himself taking a dive to acknoweldge any of that.

Just watched the Kane on Kadri hit a couple of dozen times and I'd anticipate a Kane suspension. This was a clear cross check as Kane extends his arms at the time of the hit.

For context, we see cross checks of that magnitude during scrums along the boards every game. But the players involved have no forward momentum. Kadri, on the other hand, had been at full speed and Kane's cross check not only added to his momentum but also disrupted Kadri's natural attempt to slow as he approached the boards.

Meanwhile they are screaming bloody murder that Mackinnon threw a slew foot on Drai. From where I was sitting it looked like Drai felt the leverage from Mac and threw his legs up. MacKinnon's leg did not move in a manner consistent with a slew foot, IMO. Certainly not enough to propel Daisaitl that far up.

Part of the reason it is so easy to dislike the guy. Acts like all he has to do is show up and he should be rewarded. It's a team game Connor. One man can only do so much.

They're quickly becoming one of the most hated teams and fanbases in the league. I mean, they already were at the top of my list, but it's good to see other fans around the league catching on lol
