Snead said at the Draft party in LA that they wanted to trade up to take Goff after they went through several game tapes. He said one of the things that impressed them the most was his TD to INT ratio in the redzone, he was something like 42-2.

I can still remember the San Diego game a couple of seasons ago, when Hill threw that game ending INT trying to punch it in and another game vs Seattle when we turned it over on downs to end the game where we tried to run it on three downs and another fade to the corner that was so far off even though the WR was open.

In other words, even though we are going to be handing the ball off to No. 30 an awful lot, they felt they needed a QB they could trust, not only on third down, but in the Redzone.

His redzone ability and 3rd down stats were two things they talked about during the draft broadcast as well. Sure sounded good...

Has he had knee problems?

Just wondering because he wears that brace on his left leg.

From what I had understood, he hasn't missed a game in his career, am I wrong? I hope not...

I was just wondering why he wore a brace. I don't remember seeing anything about injuries concerning him, but find it odd a guy would wear a brace for no reason.

It's a good question!!! I have absolutely no idea. With the crazy tests these guys have to go through nowadays, if there was a problem, I'd think it would be public knowledge by now...

1. Los Angeles Rams: Jared Goff | Grade: A
As expected, Jared Goff is the No. 1 pick in the draft, and rightfully so. The Los Angeles Rams made a splash by moving from No. 15 to No. 1 in the draft to secure their quarterback of the future.

Our top-graded FBS quarterback is the best in the draft, and he excels in a number of key areas that translate at the next level. He’s excellent under pressure, handling the blitz and he has the quick mind to work through progressions to find the open receiver. Goff elevated a subpar Cal team in a difficult Pac-12, and while QB Carson Wentz has the more enticing physical tools, Goff is the right pick for the Rams. At only 21 years old, Goff continues to fill out physically and his three-year development is a good sign for Los Angeles as they move out west with their new franchise quarterback.

As expected, the Rams kicked things off by selecting Jared Goff, two weeks after trading up from the 15th slot. The cerebral Goff is our top-rated quarterback despite lacking a top-end arm or good hand size. His accuracy percentage while under pressure (64.7 percent) ranked second out of 70 qualifiers in 2015, as did his 12 touchdown passes while feeling a pass rush. Playing behind the 26th-graded Rams pass blocking unit will test his highly-rated pocket presence. He will throw to mostly uninspiring pass-catchers in a low-volume, run-heavy offense. Goff makes Tavon Austin and company marginally more intriguing for fantasy, as opposed to the rookie being worth more than a 2QB-league or third-round dynasty rookie pick.

After trying to sell this guy as a soon-to-be or instant starter, I find it laughable that Snisher would include the word development in any description of Goff. More of the same double talk from this bunch.

I don't know Retro, it doesn't appear as double talk in this instance.

From the context of that review, (No idea exactly where Snake Eyes copied it from, however I would guess NFL.com) it doesn't appear to come from Snisher.

Otherwise the word 'they' and 'their' would be 'we' and 'our'.... No?

Yep, indeed, Vita. I am just so frustrated right now because I truly believe we are going to regret this trade 3-5 years from now when we are still losing and no longer have a good defense or the same crappy offense.
