At this point, I'd be pretty surprised if it's Wentz, but I suppose you never know...

The last several posts are also used to describe Paxton Lynch. I still want the original picks back. Whoever we take, both are going to get Bulgerized unless our O-line really improves from last year and both will require AT LEAST half a season before they get their version of Bulgerization.

come on Angel who's your choice?

I'm thinking the Rams want their QB to start sooner than later, so I think they go Goff (even though he comes from a spread offense).

I prefer Wentz slightly over Goff, but I understand they really can't wait to develop him because I think he should sit at least a year.

I think the Rams intend on starting Goff day 1, but I would let him sit at least half the season like the Giants did with Manning his rookie season ( and he was more ready to start day one than Goff is ).

The sports talk people here in Phoenix are still laughing at this trade. Lynch would have been the better pick along with the rest of our picks.

I have to say, I really like what Lynch brings to the table. Not that I don't like Goff, but I feel like everyone is forgetting the guy who just MIGHT be the most talented of them all in the long run(Lynch)...

Knowing our luck, if the Rams take Goff, and every indication suggests he will be the pick, ten-to-one he gets hurt his first real series and then we will be stuck with Keenum or Foles whomever doesn't get traded.

What SJ stated in this or another thread is that flippin Snisher having been telling the QBs they interviewed that the QB is not going to throw much and will mostly just hand the ball off to Gurley. Then they turn around and use throwing accuracy as one of the reasons they'll take Goff. This whole dog and pony show stinks to high heavens.

yep you are probably correct. I think Wentz will be a better pro in time. But we will select Goff.

Yeah, I don't get that, If you just want the guy to handoff at first, you take the guy with the most upside and I just don't think that's Goff, though you never know...

worst kept secret ever.

Agree 100%...The Rams should actually be ASHAMED for being that transparent. In a two horse race, NO ONE should ever REALLY know who you would select first that early on...

Loose lips sink ships....I think there are too many people involved for the first pick to remain a total secret.

Snead said at the Draft party in LA that they wanted to trade up to take Goff after they went through several game tapes. He said one of the things that impressed them the most was his TD to INT ratio in the redzone, he was 49-2.

I can still remember the San Diego game a couple of seasons ago, when Hill threw that game ending INT trying to punch it in and another game vs Seattle when we turned it over on downs to end the game where we tried to run it on three downs and another fade to the corner that was so far off even though the WR was open.

In other words, even though we are going to be handing the ball off to No. 30 an awful lot, they felt they needed a QB they could trust, not only on third down, but in the Redzone.
