Oh, trust me, the feeling is mutual. I'm pretty easy going, but when somebody takes the "holier than thou" attitude to criticize people for perfectly understandable traditions, I get pissed. Luckily, I know that your fan base is much nicer than you are. I had a great time sitting by Nebraska fans yesterday, and I know they had a great time at Camp Randall. I care about their opinion much more than I care about yours. I really do feel bad about the guy who had a can of beer thrown at him. To the rest of you guys, you really need to relax.

If they actually touched people or made them feel threatened, that isn't acceptable. If they leaned towards them to talk trash in a crowded setting, that is perfectly acceptable to me. I walked through Madison wearing a Brian Urlacher jersey today, and probably got the same treatment that they did. I laughed it off and didn't think anything of it. How can you be a sports fan and be offended by harmless banter?

its not just banter dude! one of our fans got a full beer can thrown at their head!! one of our fans had his family personally insulted...im okay with a "nebraska sucks dude!!!" im not okay with our fans being potentially injured, or not being able to enjoy a trip because their family is being verbally attacked

Sorry I missed this before, BUT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT SWEARING AT THE GAME. I've yet to hear anybody claim fans swore in your face. You probably will now, because you guys are stubborn as hell, but we know it didn't happen. If you walked past a party wearing Nebraska gear, you may have gotten the asshole chant. Nobody ran up to you guys and got in your face to call you an asshole. That's just ridiculous.
