I thought Shaq committed to Cal. Definitely a great signing, though.

From what I've seen When ever these players make a circus of their recruitment they don't end up as good or impact full as people thought. I'd rather have a nice 4* team player than some of these 5* headaches

Well this thread originated over a year ago. He completed his Freshman year already and even as a FR he had a bit of an impact, reason I dug this back up is because with Dion Jordan gone, I could see Armstead as the next dominant force on the D-Line.

He has in no way been a headache 5 star drama queen for Oregon. So far he is contributed quiet well and I expect a breakout year this year.

I've got nothing against him personally but most of these players don't end up nearly as good as they think they are. He seems solid for sure but not all world.
