First we have a cover being hit off the baseball by Maldonado and now this.

Jean Segura was pinch hit for in the bottom of the 1st because he walked right into Braun's bat as he was practice swinging to get loosened up at the top of the dugout. I can't quite say I've ever seen that...

The Brewers are playing well to start the year. I hope they can keep it up. They are probably my 3rd favorite team behind the 2 Chicago teams. They have a nice relaxing ball park that is great for tailgaiting and easy access.

Maybe they can make the playoffs this year again.

K-Rod isn't getting behind hitters like he was a few years ago. His problem was that due to having a less than spectacular fastball, if he got behind hitters, he'd either keep throwing breaking pitches or change ups in the dirt and walking batters or throwing meatballs down the heart of the plate.

He's really done a nice job this year getting ahead of hitters and locating his pitches. I don't know what it is about Milwaukee, but he sure pitches well there.
