Incorrect. Only if one of the Steelers players came over and touched the ball would it have become live since it was not blocked into the back field.

Because the coaches believed in that unit? You don't accept that penalty just to kick it out the endzone. The point of accepting that penalty is to have the returner catch it within his 5 so you can stop them inside the 15

So no reason to touch it. (it cant be advanced unless it had gone backwards)
