I remember watching that game. I Mistakenly thought Hogeboom might be a good QB after watching the game. He sucked after that game.

I thought Hogeboom and his cannon arm was the future. IMO his problem was he threw the ball like he was tying to throw it through a brick wall the same way on every pass, didn’t marter if the receiver was 40 yards away or 4.

I was listening to the Hogeboom game on the Arm Forces Network at time. Thought we had the next great one. LOL

Pretty sure it was a Monday night game. I remember they kept showing Danny White on the sidelines. I felt terrible for him. The next week we got beat and the controversy started again.
