WTF! McVAy is so afraid to apply a killer instinct. Dude just wants to be liked by everybody in the frikin' league. Kick the damn FG for-cryin-out-loud!!
Precisely Rambunctious. I guess that swimming test really exposed who is a keeper and who should be shown the door. E Jones is a keeper and he made McSnead look like geniuses. Conversely, this Atwell/Jackson debacle is a complete eff-up and their is going to be some esplaining-to-do-Lucy to the pundits for how they justified picking Atwell in the manner that they did. Since Skowronek is playing pretty damn good, go ahead and trade Jackson and package Atwell and D. Long in a deal for Myles Jack!
I really now think that Jackson is not going anywhere since there are no real takers and now that Atwell is injured, Jackson will shut his mouth and McVay (if he is smart) will play Jackson more and everyone will be happy. This doesn't mean the Rams won't engage in a trade of their own in a couple of days. Here is a snippet from a pundit.
"Sean McVay says he knows there’s been some conversations, but otherwise has no update on the DeSean Jackson trade situation."
We finished the game today with 467 total yards on offense, 165 yards rushing, and Stafford, who looked really comfortable and in a zone to some degree, finished with 21/32 for 306 passing yards, with 3 TDs and no INTs.
Nice relaxing win, Van Jefferson is an upgrade on Jackson, while Jones is more of a true MLB and also an upgrade on Young. This team continues with solid moves.
Here is yet another draft scenario gaining traction. This one with Zac Taylor and his troublesome O-line. We get another DB and a fifth roiunder. Should be a fourth rounder since we don't have many of those.
