He's already made more money than most people ever will. I think his wife would probably be very happy if he retired after last season.
Ok? Why hold out for 80 million when you're already making 60 million? You're already making more than most people could ever make,.yada yada yada..

Again, at some point it has to go beyond the money and to what kind of life you can have after football. What good is a ton of money if your brain is gone?

Incorrect. Most NFL players would gladly play into their mid 30s if their skill level allowed them.
I'm sure many of them would, but the few who do like Stafford, take more hits and more injuries than those who don't. As you get older, even the smallest injury doesn't heal the same way it did in your 20's. Stafford has had some major injuries through his career.

What do you want me to say? I gave you the reasons why he, and most NFL players wouldn't simply retire.

And I told you I understand that. Maybe there should be a board of former NFL players and if someones injury history is bad, they hear from doctors and vote if they should be allowed to continue.

Lmfao, good luck with that. How about you just suck up the contract that you gave him when you guys went "all in" to win a championship, and it actually worked!?!? You got your chip, this was expected. Get a grip.

After all this conversation, you think I care we have to pay Stafford? It's not my money, why would I care? We have some exciting young players to build on even though we are going to suck this year. We have one of the youngest teams in the NFL.

The Raiders were clusterfucked by the Donks.

Just like the Rams. Just not as bad as the Raiders.

It is clear you care. It is clear you weren't concerned about his injury issues when he was winning you a chip for you . It is clear his injury issues only matter to you when you want those issues to force a retirement on a guy when he is no longer a plus.

I was also concerned as hell when he went down in Detroit with the neck and others injuries. You never want to see anyone get hurt!

Yet no forced retirement talk from you when they traded for him, or when he was winning you all a chip?
