Actually, Retro can tell you that I was a huge Goff fan and I still am. Still wonder if we could've won it with him.
The answer is,.........maybe? I don't fucking know. Nobody will ever fucking know. The whole discussion started out with why doesn't Stafford retire and give up his huge ass contract? I answered that.

Yes, but the money part is obvious. Of course they do it for the money. Aaron Donald could've easily continued for the money and still dominated. Donald never had a major injury.
Stafford has had many major injuries, that's all I've been saying, it's riskier.

Who gives a shit about Goof. Thr guy needs pieces around to compete. Srafford out there busting his ass playing a shaky offensive line without two of the best WRs in the league. With little to no help from the defense and a coach that is fucking clueless in the redzone.

They weren’t going to win with Goff with McVay at HC.

He wanted his system run, not cater to his QB’s strengths.
We almost beat a dynasty in the SuperBowl with Goff. If we didn't face a defensive genius like Belichick, we would've won.

That, and if McShitferBrains knew anything about the Jumbo offense, we'd have two Lombardi trophies in the era of the same.
True!!! McVay has always had a hard time changing gameplans during the game. To me, that's his biggest flaw and still is. Unfortunately, that's a really big problem.

Stafford has definitely missed alot of open receivers this season. You also can't blame all of it on pressure. He has missed or underthrown plenty of open passes since last season. When was the last time we saw him whip a pass 40+ yards and the WR didn't have to slow down or change their route to catch it?

He’s been sailing passes for quite a while now.

We would’ve needed Goliath out there to have a shot at a TD on those 2 throws Stafford threw on 3rd and 4th down.

It takes time to get on the same page with your wrs, most of training camp he had Puka and Kupp to throw to. As soon as the season started that changed. Not to mention he has wrs now that have little experience or are veterans still trying to learn the playbook. Add in the fact that Robinson is the only wr to start every game this season. That goes for tight ends as well.

Then the wr with the most potential Whittington gets injuried.

I think the key moment in the game yesterday was that Williams fumble in the 3rd quarter. I think that once they lost that momentum, they were never able to quite get it back. I wasn't too upset over the game because I thought that the game was going to be one of those where they blew us out early and would be well in hand by the half but yet they hung in there until the end.
