Game Thread: Week 8: Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos

This is going to be an interesting game as the Chargers offense is playing pretty well, while their defense is struggling. Denver is the opposite as our Defense is playing pretty well, but the Offense has been uneven at best. This will be an important game and one that the team could win. We will see how the Broncos react after having a poor performance against the Chiefs and see if they respond in the right way.

Positive stuff--- Malik Reed and Bradley Chubb have been fantastic the last two weeks.

The defense has been pretty good.

The offense needs to be better. I like that Fant spoke out today. Put up or shut up time. The offense needs to start producing.
The next 5 games are ones we can win:
Vs Chargers
At Flacons
At Raiders
Vs Dolphins
Vs Saints

I would not have thought the Saints was a winnable game before the season but something is missing there.

Sad that Denver has been searching for 5 year and looks like LAC will go back to back. Philip then Justin. Baltimore did it and Green Bay did it and Indy did it until Luck retired . Would not surpise me if NE and Pitts (after Big Ben) figures out their QB position faster than Denver. Bet SF will move on from Jimmy G and fill the spot faster than Denver.

Lost in all the Herbert accolades, and deservedlay so, is that their other first rounder LB Murray out of OU has played really well. He’s a guy I really liked coming out.

I heard he's questionable but leaning towards playing.

Go Broncos! So far, we’ve beaten the teams we should and lost to the teams we had no chance against. All 4 losses have come against elite teams. The Chargers are not an elite team. Today should be a very good opportunity to get a big W against a divisional foe. Hopefully we get it and keep pace for a wildcard.

SD is better than Denver. Just use the chiefs games as a measuring stick. Or tampa
