This year the scoring is WAY up, for almost every team. Hard to pinpoint why but maybe having to do with the lack of preseason and normal training camps?

Tackling in general is getting worse and worse year after year. It usually gets better as the season goes on, but it's still bad.

No training camp/pre-season games and the tackling will take longer to return.

Holding calls are way down, so offenses get more breaks going their way.

Road games are easier for offenses as they don't have to deal with crowd noise and such.
