I think Dallas is doing it right with Dax. Wait as long as you can and then talk. If it were me, if Goff didn't improve this year, I'd draft a QB this year (since it's supposed to be a good QB draft) to light a fire under his ass.

For Donald, I'm surprised he wasn't double teamed a lot more tonight because it looked like they were only putting one guy on him for most of the night when usually, teams put 2 or even 3 guys on him.

I not a fan of the half yard for a first and pass instead on 3rd downs. McVay does that way too much. Usually doesn't work out. Goff screws it up all the time. How about run the ball ? That one he called near the end of the game was a real WTH ? How about run the ball maybe get a first if not you take time off the clock then punt. Make the Browns go 90 yards. Defense had been playing great all game.

Myself and some customers aka Cleveland fans. Yeah flew up for the game. Feel bad for them. It’s like all Browns fans taking that same walk back and lost a close one.

Good news is AFC north is wide open

The one I don't like is on first down, they'll run Gurley to the outside and a bunch of defenders are waiting for him, like they knew what we were going to do before we even huddled up. I know I've said this ad nauseam but I always liked how we were running the offense at the beginning of games last year. Mix it up with some runs and TE screens to Higbee, which got defenses to play closer to the line, and then we started going with the deep routes when they'd play our WR's 1 on 1.

3-0, 2-0 on the road I'm not complaining. Sunday night games on the road are always tough environments. Defense is carrying this team this year, we are still trying to find our offensive rhythm

First game I have been able to watch from start to finish this year. At no time during the game did I believe we would lose. Just my feeling watching the game. Mayfield made some nice plays but he is gonna do that. Our Defense is top 5 easy. Offense well the switch hasn't clicked quite yet. It will. Still good enough. 3-0.

One of the main reasons we are struggling on offense is the discontinuity on the O line. Whitworth is still playing a high level and worth every penny and Havenstein a tick below that although he holds way too much. Notebook is playing very well. Allen was confused a lot last night and Demby just got beat a lot. He is not the answer for a Blythe replacement although the more playing time he gets the better. We need a better focus on getting the run going earlier because of McVay's tendency to be pass happy and McVay has yet to grasp the idea that he needs to learn and implement the Jumbo offense. We are going to see the 46 D many times more this season and when we do, if McVay does not implement the Jumbo, we will see the same slow inconsustent play by the offense because when Goff gets rattled, he fails miserably. More work to be done.
