The scariest thing for me is that people are claiming Gurley was healthy. So why didn't he produce? It's all so confusing... I kinda hope that he was injured because if not, we have a SERIOUS problem!!!
I definitely think that Gurley was far from 100%. I just hope that we can get Anderson back for next season since he seemed to grasp the offense pretty quickly.

It was a close game, if the two teams played next week the Rams could be the winner. Next season will be long in coming but it will get here and the Rams will be ready.

That's it right there. Pats aren't done yet but Rams are young This was a masterful game by both defense's. The Rams offense was not poorly coached but inexperienced. It was a tough game to have your hat handed to you.
Plat the Chiefs or Rams over again and Pats might lose both. We won on experience. You just paid the price for more experience.....

This will be a blessing in disguise, McVay will use this as a learning experience. As far as Goff, next season will be his judgment season. He will have Cooper Kupp back, but he will need to prove he can play in this league at a high level or it is time to move on. One certainty is the Rams will use s draft pick to pick a quarterback and one that will fit his style of play.

I can only hope we can keep Suh and Fowler, get some linebacker help and get these young offensive linemen ready to go.

I don't know if Suh stay's since he's a better fit for a 4-3 defense;but we do need some LB help. The rams may want to see if Goff continues to progress next season before paying him the big bucks. I mean to make a SB at 24 is pretty impressive but he needs to learn from this game and grow. The same bone headed mistakes he made this season can't be repeated if we are to try and make it back. It's good to be able to talk like this again and be relevant not just in the NFC WEST but in the NFL.

Rams need to concentrate on the O-Line, Goff needs to be protected to be successful. He is not a guy that can evade the rush.
And if the Rams were smart they would look for a better backup QB.
And try like hell to hang on to the players they have now.

Only if it's the same Suh that showed up to the playoffs and not the one that was non-existent during the regular season. The Fowler trade ended up better for us than I had anticipated and would like to see him back in a Rams uniform but am afraid that he might've priced himself out of our range. Don't know what our cap number will be this offseason.
Agree about Goff, I want him to show that he's ready to take his game up another level.

Doubtful.... He def should know that many times when the Rams are on D, Mcvay sits with Goff and talks to him... If he means when the Rams are on O, then he must be blind, McVay is always front and center on our sidelines(sometimes too much )

The problem with Suh is that he's 'me' guy. "I" think he'll go where ever there is a big offer. Fowler, I have no idea. But these guys know that their career can be over in a heartbeat and must do what's best for them and screw anyone else.

When I was working, if someone called me and offered a better job at more money, especially much moire money, I changed my loyalty in a wink. Family, mortgage, car loans are all paid easier with a bigger paycheck.

The Patriots 2018 draft was all on the IR except Sony Michel and he missed 4 games. Come the OTA's, it will be like having two drafts this year, only half of those guys played in the preseason.

Really good chance that we could be right back here discussing another Super Bowl between the Patriots and Rams next year. We can only hope and pray.

The Goodell/Craft connection! :mad2: .....Patriots on 3!!!!!

With the postseason on the horizon, games will get closer and one untimely mistake - and penalties often are just that - could be the difference between advancing to the next round or seeing the season come to an end. New England appears to be well equipped to avoid the latter as a look at the numbers above shows.

Patriots one of NFL's least-penalized teams entering regular season finale

I guess the league didn't want to defend the NFC championship game all off season so stop the Rams and let it die.:noidea:

I maybe way off base but I am a little confused with all the Goff better get it together or hit the bricks talk. Isn't he like 24, 3rd year in the NFL. An NFC champion and just played in the Super Bowl were he was a couple of arguably bad calls and dropped passes away from winning? I believe we are good at the QB position. :suds:
