hill is low character; we knew that years ago. Mahomes is rock solid grounded.

Both are great football players (I don't throw around great often)

I've always been under the assumption that the trade was win/win but at some point you have to factor in how good Waddle (Miami spent 2 first on him) and Tua (top 10 pick) on top of a Coach of the year candidate factor in.

I've always been more worried about Hill off the field than on.

Same thing that happens to the Bengals. Miami will give Waddle all of the money. Both teams have a wide open SB window right now.

KC saw that it didn't matter how good their offense was if their D sucked so I've never really been against the Hill trade. That said, Chiefs are a WR short right now but still doing alright

I actually would go one further.
I think it was a smart move to trade Hill. Dont get me wrong. I was shocked they did, but thought a wise move. For the Chiefs he was a luxury. Other teams a necessity. Chiefs couldnt pay everyone.

I understand off field without question, always a factor with Hill, but between the fat-lines, he's a great football player.

It's always funny to me when the supporting cast is mentioned as if it's the reason or something. They did that to your chiefs.

Yeah I think it was one of those moves where it worked for everyone involved.

He’s clearly an elite receiver. But at that price tag the chiefs, their system and the rest of their roster did not need him.

Dolphins badly needed him. And he got paid.

No one should regret it
