Rose Bowl:
Ohio State (13-0) vs. Oregon (12-1)

Fiesta Bowl:
Baylor (12-0) vs. Northern Illinois (13-0)

Orange Bowl:
Clemson (11-1) vs. Stanford (10-2)

Sugar Bowl:
Auburn (10-2) vs. UCF (11-1)

UCF has a dangerous 2-win team coming up in USF. After that pillow fight with Temple it should be a real barn burner!

I hate this system. Especially for this year. If it were the playoff only one of UCF, NIU and Fresno St. would make it.

If this were next year and we had a playoff, it might look something like this:

First Semifinal:
Alabama(13-0) vs. Baylor(12-0)

Second Semifinal:
Florida State (13-0) vs. Ohio State (13-0)

Orange Bowl:
Clemson(11-1) vs. Auburn(10-2)

Cotton Bowl:
Oklahoma State(10-2) vs. Fresno State(12-0)

Fiesta Bowl:
Texas A&M(10-2) vs. Stanford(10-2)

Chick-Fil-A Bowl:
Wisconsin(10-2) vs. Missouri(10-2)

I hate this system. Especially for this year. If it were the playoff only one of UCF, NIU and Fresno St. would make it.

Why would any of them make it? It would be Bama, FSU, OSU and Baylor (assuming these teams win out). Oregon next team in.

Does a 2-loss Stanford team really get an invite to an East Coast BCS bowl? They don't have a huge traveling fan base. I know they were there in 2011 but that was a 1-loss team.

I don't understand your comment. Are you saying you don't think NIU, Fresno State, or UCF would make it under the new playoff format? And are you suggesting Oregon passes an undefeated Baylor?

I don't think Stanford makes the Orange Bowl or any BCS bowl. 2 losses to both unranked teams is going to ruin their chances. Utah isn't helping them at all.

There really isn't going to that many teams to choose from. Based on my scenario, Oklahoma State, Michigan State, and Stanford would all have two losses. SEC can only get 2 teams, so all of their eligible teams will be eliminated. Wisconsin may get to the top 14. The Orange will basically be choosing from the following: Oklahoma State/Oklahoma(if they get top 14), MSU, Stanford, Wisconsin(if they get top 14). I can see them picking Oklahoma if they win out over Stanford and MSU, but I'm not sure OU wins out.
