Knowing there is an off day Thursday should spur us on this series. With Lewis and Hamels pitching, it looks favorably.

We just came off a long run beating decent to very good teams. You are right now we need to win the games we are supposed to win. Don't think Banister will let the team lower its guard.

Oh man their pitching...they are one of the few bullpens that make Texas' overall pen numbers look desirable.

No really, in all seriousness. Would be awesome to blow the Reds out in both games and rest our bullpen. The bullpen would get 3 days of rest if you include the day off. I know easier said than done, but Banister should think about shutting Diekman and Especially Dyson down for this series.

He already used Diekman the other day as closer...and it worked! That bodes well for him doing it again.

I have no problems with Tony. He's a middle reliever for a reason and he's not bad at the role. Tolley might be pretty good in that role going forward too.

Yeah they have 5 guys who can take you deep, but they also play half their games in a hitters paradise. Great American Ballpark is a joke. Keep those guys in the yard and this two game series won't be that bad.

Agreed about Profar, prefer to see him DHing at the expense of Fielder and Rua getting ABs versus LHPs at the expense of anyone LHed depending on the day

Could be Mazara/Choo/Fielder/Moreland & even Profar who stinks versus LHPs
