This one is barely a blip.

He was backed into a corner, and had to make a change that would not piss anyone else off. He picked a safe vanilla choice.
Redskins was a whole order of magnitude more troublesome than teams like Chiefs, Braves, Warriors. He went with a least troublesome pick.

Should’ve kept the numbers on the helmet. Better look than a dumb W. The name is crap, but I’m not a Redskins fan, so doesn’t matter to me. In a division with the Cowboys, Giants, and Eagles, Commanders just does not fit.

Sounds like an XFL team name but it could be a lot worse. I thought Red wolves would have been cool but from what I read there are a lot of names with likeness appeal which would have been a legal issue right off the bat. There are so many teams with the name wolf or wolves they probably wanted to avoid all that.

Leaks were right but didn't do it justice. They're even worse than I imagined. The jerseys are atrocious. They look like something high school team got on a discount after the AAF went out of business. The name is bland and also hilarious considering their colors are shades of red and yellow and you can call them "Commies". They literally paid millions for this design and rebrand and this was the best they could come up with. I've seen numerous fan created rebrands that are 1000x better with a cleaner look than what these "professional" designers came up with.

Commanders is a forced politically correct name and as such will always be the worst team name in the NFL. The Washington Fucktards would have been far better. At least it would be honest.

Quite frankly, I might have gone for something like the Washington Dragons. You could have come up with a bitch assed helmet with that name.
