Warriors-Spurs Prediction

Diaw is pretty damn important to these games. Mostly to how Spurs would like to match up with the Warriors

Even in the games Diaw did play, the Spurs offense did nothing against the Warriors. It's going to be a very short series unless the Spurs can figure how to score on this team

BORIS DIAW/ALDRIDGE/DUNCAN/LEONARD have to be on their game to win.

The Spurs frontcourt is still the key.
It should be able to beat up the Warriors frontcourt.

it has only happened one time where they all played.
The other 3 times someone was missing.

I am not saying it ends in victories, but that is the SPURS best chance to win games.

Lame excuse. If he didn't care about it, I doubt we would see Parker, Leonard, or Aldridge playing in these games. He obviously wanted to win these games or else he would have rest his top players

But even in that one game where they all played, the Spurs still put up shitty offensive numbers. They basically got lucky because Klay and Steph could not throw it in the pacific ocean. The Warriors were also without Iggy in that game

He can defend a guy like Barnes or Green anywhere on the floor.

West, Boban, Duncan, Martin, and Slo-Mo cannot cover those guys like Diaw can do.
Barnes and Green kept the Warriors in the game.....until Steph heated up.

Diaw is probably the 3rd best defender behind Leonard and Duncan...maybe 2nd best.
That puts Green/Leonard able to focus on shutting down the curry/Thompson game.

It doesn't mean the SPURS win, but it enables them to slow Curry down.

They need to figure out this Warriors defense if they want a legit chance at beating this team 4 of 7. Good news is the last 2 games LA played against the Warriors without getting hurt (So I'm not speaking of the game on Thursday), he pretty much dominated them

They should. On a lot of cable networks you don't even need the sports package to get NBATV. It is in most basic plans

They have a way to beat the defense.
Give the ball to Aldridge. Golden State has no answer for him. That is their primary advantage.

It might not always get wins, but it is their best weapon versus GS.
They just need someone big like Diaw who can pull defenders away....allowing LA to get the ball.

The problem is getting the ball to him.
He needs clear passing lanes to receive the ball.

GSW is packing it in and daring Danny Green to shoot. They are preventing LA from touching it.
Green doesn't drive to the hoop. He is a shooter.

Diaw can play 20 feet away and drive to the hoop, so you cannot sag back on him as much as Green.
It is subtle but very important.

Wow, I have had Dish, Directv and Time Warner cable and it was always part of the basic cable package in SoCal.
