anyone know why this blatant atrocity wasn't whistled ???

I mean...how many steps should he be given before it's called???

That's pretty funny. I guess in today's game there are so many more complex scenarios to look for...pulling, leaning, flopping, pushing off, etc., that they can somehow ignore some obvious calls like this. They also missed a terrible call against James when AI9 chopped James' arms as he was going up for a shot. I can see one like this missed, but the one of James walking (in the above post by Yoga which I properly quoted) is fairly hard to miss. Probably the refs' eyes were focused on the guys at the other end of the court who were beginning to jostle for position and setting screens, etc.

I agree that the game last night was refereed terribly. It allowed tons of contact and they let the game get out of control. It favors the Cavs style of play in my opinion. I wouldn't be too surprised if the NBA is trying to make a good and longer series out of this (due to Irving's injury) by telling the refs to allow for a lot of contact and overt hand-checking. I found it hard to imagine that Delladova could contain Curry the way he did. He'd have had to have used a lot of grabbing and hand checking and muscling of Curry to allow Curry to shoot 5 for 22 from the field.

I think they should have allowed Thompson to have the last shot near the end of the game (not sure if it was OT or regulation) when Curry tossed up an air ball as Delladova guarded him. What can one say? Curry was 5 for 22 and Thompson was 14-24. I'd have been mad if I were Thompson when Curry tossed up that air ball after going one on one on Delladova.

This Warriors team reminds me a lttle of the 2010 SF Giants. Giants were a little nervous and tight at home against the Reds. Reds won two but the Giants came back to win 3 in a row and take the Reds out in their yard. The positive is the Warriors are 1-1 in this series and I think they can relax now ..having a couple of games under their belt. Loosen up boys..

Go Warriors !!

The Warriors are playing tight and like a team that has not been here before. The Cavs on the other hand have a number of players on their team with championship experience. That does have an effect.

Not one of the current Warriors players has ever been this close to the dream. With the hype beast known as the media already crowning them, there's so much added pressure.

The Warriors need to get back to basics. They need to get out in transition and look for those easy buckets. They need to play with flow and pace and not expect the next person to do the job. Play within themselves and play loose.

I am watching Outside the Lines right now and they are doing a story on Championship team riots. Cleveland has not won a title in 51 years and they think this is it and want to prevent a riot. I hope the Warriors are watching this shit. No riots in Cleveland...The Warriors gonna take this Championship. This pissses me off. Like Cleveland has already clinched this thing.

Go Warriors !!

Disappointed in OTL today. I like Bob Ley a lot and have great respect for him but to come on TV with a report on teams fans rioting over winning or losing a Championship by fans is flat out wrong. Why not send out positive vibes and say people are cool then to show destruction and violence by drunk out of control idiots. It scares people and also gives those idiot people idea's they might not of had before the report. It's been a great series so far ..why bring up BS like this today when it should be a celebration in Cleveland for making it this far. Dissapointed in Ley but the Man is still a great reporter.

Peace

Ley didn't say that it possibly might have something to do with the death and subsequent non-action by the grand jury in the case of 12 year old Tamir Rice, the boy killed by police because reportedly he had a gun...the boy who was at the park with his toy gun who was gunned down within 2 seconds after the officers pulled their car 15 feet or less up to the boy and one officer jumped out and shot him dead? This is a big thing going on in Cleveland right now. They're getting pissed that nothing has happened and it's been more than 6 months now, plus the entire incident was on video.

I know that some cities do riot when they either lose (Kentucky) or win, and that this could be A reason why Cleveland might riot, but I know that this case could end up being another case in a big urban city where riots have occurred.

Cleveland also had some riots/protests over a police officer killing a black couple (late May, 2015), and the officer was acquitted of any charges.

Curry has one bad game and they suddenly decide not to have him shoot in game 3 until he finally just starts to light it up in the 3rd/4th quarter. I don't know why they're even sending a man to pick for Curry at the top of the key with just Dellavadova on him. He can take him right off the dribble and if he passes then he's only passing with one man on him.

Curry's been shooting what would be considered low percentage 3-pt shots all year long and he's been making them. No reason to stop now.

They said that Kerr told Curry to get more aggressive in the second half, which he did. Maybe Curry felt bad about shooting 5-23 in the last game, so he decided not to "hog" the ball in this game. I think he needs to go back to doing what he does best and shoot and/or drive.

As of now, we're just down 3 because Curry's just made his 7th 3-pointer (17 in 4th quarter), but I'm doubtful we can pull this one off. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm not sure that Thompson actually touched the ball on that key play when he stepped out of bounds and he was reaching for the ball from Dellavadova. I think he got Dell....'s hand. But, at least Steph got off the schnide, if that's a word.

meh....not the end of the world....and even if they lose game 4 on Thursday...they come home down 3-1 to play a must win game....and if they win that, it's another must win back in Cleveland....and if it does go 7 like I think it will...I totally like their chances to win it in front of the Oracle zannies. But they need to find a way somehow to grab 1 in C-town.

Game 3

Warriors 91

Cavs 96

Final

Well another classic ending to this wonderful series. A true competitor LeBron James wills another win after a Warriors run late down 20 to get it to a 1 point deficit. Curry only 3 points in the first half finished with a flurry but the Warriors just ran out of time and you have to tip your cap to a gritty Cleveland team who just kept chugging away. Three great games as this epic series continues with the Warriors down 2-1 in the Finals. Warriors turn to put on a show or it is going to be real tough to come back down 3-1. What a rollercoaster ride. Waht's next? Wow

Go Warriors !!

Good to see D Lee getting & playing some productive minutes....but where did HB vanish to??

Dubs took only 12 FT's in the entire game...going just 7-12...(that has to change)....
.....and not one FT was taken by Klay or Steph....(that also must change)

Kerr & his staff really have their work cut out to switch the dynamic and regain the energy,or they'll be heading home w/ their backs against the wall down 3-1

Woke up real esrly today and they are talking Warriors on the radio. What's wrong with the Warriors? That seems to be the big question right now.

Well boys and girls this is what is going on. The Warriors have gone away from who they are. The Warriors are the loose group who has tons of fun on the court and loves to shake their tail feathers. Pure joy for their game seems to have gone into hibernation. Tight faces and ass's seem to be happening as the Caves defensive strategy has hog tied the Warriors joy.

Cleveland is attacking Steph as he dribbles down near the three point line and is switching off to disrupt his quick release shot. The answer....Steph needs to pull the fucking ball down and take it to the hole. It will create space and oppertunities to dish to open players for 3's and dunks. Steph is throwing up way to many wild off balence shots. Yeah some of it is due to Delevadova but Steph needs to find his joy again. I see a lot of frowns and tightness to take the whole load on his back. Thompson also is a huge energy guy who looks tight. The Warriors love the fans and they have put too much pressure on themselves to win this Title . You got to be loose and confident to be a Champion and right now the Warriors have forgotten how to shake their tail feathers and play for the joy of the game. That's Warriors basketball.

Go Warriors !!

:suds::clap::hammer::hammer::hammer::hammer::hammer:

Oh shit ...look who just showed up. It's Jake and Elwood to help the Warriors shake their tail feathers again. Hey boys where the hell have you been ? hee hee it's time to have some fun.

Curry has got to be aggressive from the get-go. He needs to cause the defense of the Cavs to panic about Curry rather than have Curry be shy or timid to jack up his shot. Once Curry establishes his offense, then Curry's passing game will emerge and the other guys will start to get going. Right now anyone other than Curry or Thompson and AI9 are being very hesitant to shoot, like they don't want to shoot for fear of missing. The people were right, Golden State's never being in the finals is harming them. While Cleveland's guys are shooting with no care at all, Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes look like they've never seen a basketball in their lives when it comes to offense. We've reached the point where it's time for David Lee to get some playing time. He doesn't mind shooting the ball. He's comfortable as an offensive player. He's also a good rebounder and a good passer for a big man.

Band of Brothers said it best....the Warriors need to play LOOSE. They need to go out and have some fun. Curry is a notoriously explosive offensive player. They've got to take the lid off of him and let him create havoc for Cleveland's defense. The series is far from over. To see the Dubs come back from 20 last night to come to within one point just shows that when we stop being timid and go into desperation mode and just "let loose", we can not only play with Cleveland, but beat them even after we've lost home court and are down 2-1.

Oh, Bogut's lack of offense is hurting the hell out of Golden State. We were able to get away with it when we played lesser teams, but now that we're up against James and Co., it's becoming so obvious how much his lack of offense hurts the team. He also has not been very dominant on defense against players like James, Mosgov and Thompson. Cleveland plays Bogut only as a passer, which is basically allowing Cleveland to play us 5 on 4 when we're on offense. Draymond Green's lack of a mid-range game or a lack of a 3-pt shot also hurts the team badly. Barnes' sudden lack of a 3-pt shot is also hurting the team. This team is just not loose. They aren't making great passes like they did during the season. Cleveland is playing great tight man to man defense, and it's putting the clamps on the Warriors free-flowing offense. The Dubs have to figure things out quickly. They won't be able to come from behind if they go down 3-1. They have to tie up the series at 2-2, period.

Yup, the players just got to go out and play better. I'm sure the coaching staff will make the adjustments. Trust the coaches, trust your teammates and go out there and play with aggression.

Hey, robo.....btw: do me a solid and see how greg is doing in the grizzlies/dubs series thread....last I saw he was having a meltdown a little bit ago for some reason and was going on & on blaming Bogut, while attempting to call me out...I basically told him the STFU and to get real.....I hope the dude is okay.

Thanks.

Tired of hearing people saying the Warriors don't want it like Cleveland does. What a crock of shit to question this Warriors team. They want it real bad..and that's part of the problem..Too much pressure on themselves to take the Title home to their great fans who bring it every night. I just want to see the Warriors play with Joy and be loose in Game 4. Have fun boys..you are livin' the dream..everything is cool.. The Warriors just need to play their game and do their thing. Hey this is fun.

Go Warriors !!

Are you afraid to do it yourself...check out the thread where I'm making you look stupid? Last I saw, you've made zero good points to my double digits, and no one has supported you or my comments. Given that you have almost 21,000 posts thus far to my 549, it would seem that your buds aren't supporting you thus far. Also, your absence from the facts I've presented on that thread tells the whole story. As they say, "the silence is deafening." LOL

Oh, do feel free where I'm having a meltdown. Is typing words and using statistics and logic your equivalent of "a meltdown." You're in denial, "Yoga".

Also, I brought up that thread where you defended Bogut and outlined his very narrow role as the Warriors' center and made my post ON THAT THREAD. Anyone who reads this site can see where there are new comments on a thread, so how about we keep this disagreement limited to that thread and not the championship/finals one, huh? I know you're desperate to drum up some support for yourself, but, again, people can support you just as easily on the thread where you said that a center's role is not to score, but to rebound, protect the rim and to set screens.

Here's your post from the Griz' thread:

"GTFO...

Are you for real??? LOL @ You.

I got your "Man Up" hangin' right here, sweetheart...

When Klay & Steph go into long droughts and the rest of the team doesn't feel like showing up...that's where blame should be placed...Not on the friggin Center who was never asked to score in this type of offense all yr long anyway.

I'll reiterate slowly for you.....b/c you seem a tad dense.
He's there to RB........set screens..... protect the rim, blocking shots.... and his passing from the high post.

Any points generated by him is gravy....but the other guys need to score too...and they need to hit their FT's and stop turning the fucking ball over ad nauseum.

WOW
JUST WOW.

What kind of meds are you on??...and why are you in this thread, not the cavs thread??

Get real,dude."

Perhaps you can tell me where you told me to STFU? I normally would be able to find something like that. In fact, you didn't do anything but make a childish joke about your dick, which is a strong clue that the facts just aren't on your side. Bogut's hurting us bad, but you already took up for him and now that it's plain for all to see, you simply can't admit it.
