You know, I think that the Warriors had problems closing games out last year, but I think they've vastly improved on that facet this year with a much better second team/bench. I think they've learned how to keep pressing on the gas even when they're ahead. That's not to say that some teams may close the gap towards the ends of games, but that happens with every team at times. I see each teaming winning on their own court, but perhaps each one losing one game at home.

I have to say, now that we're "HERE", the whole season would be considered a loss if we can't close it out. I'm getting very greedy. I'm not sure we can get better in future seasons with Bogut aging, but some of our young guns like Draymond and HB have plenty of room to improve.

You really have to give Steve Kerr and his staff so much credit not only for preparing his team each night during the ysar but for keeping them on a even keel all year. Kerr has big time experience in big games and big series. No one player is bigger than the team even though Steph Curry won the MVP. Steph roots for his teammates and is the ultimate team player. Kerr and his staff might make the difference in this series. I say Kerr steals a game and it might just push them over the top to win this Title. I wish them the best.

I think the key for the Warriors on the court might be Draymond Green. Green plays with a passion unmatched. He played in big games in college at Michigan State under coach Tom Izzo who is a top notch coach. Green is a born leader who plays loose and confident and will push the Warriors forward in this Finals. I hope he stays with the team after this year. One of my favorite players on the team.

Go Warriors !!

Of course Green will stay on with the Dubs. They'll offer him a max contract and there should be no reason why he wouldn't want to stay with the Warriors.

I really hope that Green can start to hit at least 33% of his 3-pointers in this finals match-up. He really struggled in the post-season with his 3-pt shot, especially in the final series verses Houston. I know he does a lot of things other than score, but he started the year off hitting a really good % from 3, but this has greatly diminished as the season has worn off. He's even passing up wide open 3s as of late because he's not at all confident in that shot.

I heard somewhere on the tube he was maybe interested in going back to Detroit and play. I hope you are right. He is a great one. A great Warrior. I love his passion for the game.

A wild beginning to Game 1. A lot of wild shots on both sides. Kerr needs to settle the nerves here so the boys can relax and play their game.

Wow Warriors take Game 1 in OT 108-100. If they can overcome this terrible shooting start to this game they can overcome anything. A marvelous game . Both teams showed great heart but the Warriors shut down the Cavs in OT (2 points) . It's going to be interesting how bad this knee injury to Irving is gonna be. A great way to open the Finals. THREE wins to go !

Go Warriors !!

Wow...what a game.

That OT was amazing.

Good to see Mo Buckets back in the flow.

The Cavs are not going to go away quietly
Kerr and his staff still have some work to do insofar as defensive schemes go.

Can't wait for game 2 on Sunday.

Iguodola and Speights were key players tonight and saved this game in the first half by knocking down some key shots. Great job by these two guys.

Kerr and his staff had a terrific plan in OT and had a part in this win. Game 1 to Kerr and his coaching staff.

Irving is gonna have to have a MRI..You hate to see a guy go down in a big series like this ..if he is out the Warriors might run this thing home. Irving was a force tonight before his injury. 23 points tonight. They are showing him in the locker room and he looks real down.

I'm glad we won, but I have to say, Bogut is terribly mismatched against Cleveland's bigs. He's in over his head with Tristan Thompson and Mosgov. His unwillingness to score the ball when he has wide open layups/dunks makes me feel sorry for him. He's one of the most inept experienced centers from an offensive standpoint that I've ever seen. Tree Rollins was better equipped on offense than Bogut.

It was hard to imagine that we'd come back to win this game, but we've been doing it all season. I'll have to keep a blood pressure kit with me and take it after each quarter.

Really impressed with Iguodola and his intelligence .. the way he handled himself at the post game podium. 11 years in the league and he is finally getting his just due. His defense on Lebron James was excellent . He has a career as a commentator on TV or radio after his basketball days are over if he chooses it.

Pretty much as advertised, LeBron the best player, Warriors the best team, just too much for the Cavs.

And if Kyrie is hobbled, it's over in 5.

Damn shame, if Love and Irving were healthy Cavs would take it to 7 and maybe win. But the Ws have had a lot of luck on this playoff run and looks like they will win it.

This might be the deepest Warriors team roster wise of all time. If they can hold this team together..look out for years to come. Man, they just keep running fresh bodies in waves out there and eventually wear the opposing teams down. Very impressive indeed.

Lebron is not going to lay down in this series. Warriors have to come out and run him into the ground to beat him Sunday. Gotta keep a body on him and if Irving is out ..two bodies on him. He is gonna come out firing it up to regroup his team. Warriors have to run and run it hard Sunday. Fast paced game.

It seems that the playoff roster really widened up in tonight's game. Before we knew it, Barbosa was in the game along with Speights, who I know was always going to be a part of the playoff team. Suddenly we had both Curry and Thompson out and we closed their lead at the end of the first quarter.
