Please show me were I failed to mention that entire body, because I can point out several posts where I clearly laid out the issues on UW's resume. I've never once on any thread, on any board denied their problems. So no, I did not gloss over or skip anything.

Ohio State failed to win their own division and did not play in the CCG. That's a problem for them. And they had a loss to the eventual conf champ.

UW had a crap OOC and lost to USC at home. That was a problem for them.

Penn State wasn't even ever in the game against Michigan to the tune of a 39 point skull dragging and lost to Pitt. That was a problem.

At the end of the day that combination of two losses was worse in the committee's valuation than them winning their CCG and beating Ohio State head to head. And it clearly was worse in their mind than not having a good OOC game and having that one loss that wasn't anywhere near as bad as that michigan game on their resume for UW.

None of this is that complicated.

Like I said, I don't have all the answers. The committee doesn't either. I think they are just trying to make the most hyped match ups in the play off and they use a different excuse every year to justify it. Also, it just so happens that OSU has benefited from it 2 out of 3 years. They want OSU or Clemson against Bama in the championship and they have it set up for that. No offense to your Huskies, but I don't see UW getting a win against Bama.

I could do the same thing in reverse to sway it the other way.Semantics are fun.But winning a conference is a lot harder.OSU couldn't accomplish that.Its far more difficult

And this notion they are using different standards now vs the baylor TCU stuff is nonsense. I don't want a formula and none of you should either.

I want them to blindly look at each year and each case in the vacuum of that season only. Why on earth should you get some kind of message that any one thing is worth more or less than the others? That's when you get people changing their schedules or finding ways to only play to whatever they are high on. I don't want that at all.

The message should be to do what you can to play the best schedule you can and play as well in every game as possible. And that's exactly what they have done so far.
