Now I know you homers find this very hard to believe, but eventually somebody would have come.

Because of Lebron and I will admit the East was weak but the only reason Cleveland was at top is because Lebron and the scrubs around him played well in the regular season. They were a team that wasn't built for the playoffs especially not beating the Celtics team with the Big 3. He still took that series to 7.

Please name the Cleveland roster when he left...if they were so great...

Yeah. I'm glad that the rivalry is getting back on track where both teams are heading back to the elite category (sans national title in '13), in reference to the Canes. I liked the early 2000's where Miami and FSU were in the top 5 where UF was hanging down in the low 20's. Those were the days.

So are you crediting Michael Jordan for those draft picks? Or you are saying those players wouldn't have been as good if they didn't play with Jordan?

Sometime during the mid-1980's.. the Bulls became one of the best run franchises in the NBA.

Of course, a lot of that has to do with the arrival of Michael Jordan in 1984. But a lot of it also has to do with the arrival of Jerry Krause as GM in 1985 and Phil Jackson's arrival on the coaching staff in 1987.

Call me crazy... but I think things might have gone differently for the Cavs during LeBron's first stint if they'd had Jerry Krause as GM and Phil Jackson as coach.
