Like i said in my first post in this thread, the Hawks were going to get the Vikings best. They have to stand up to it. Right now they are laying down and taking it.

Definition of middle of the road QB. He's "hot" today because we can't rush him, can't cover the middle, and are playing often 5y+ off the receivers even when they only need 5y. It's just a totally bad unit.

I gave some credit for that line of thought when it was the OC, but Carroll is the defensive guy and it is his defensive plan/scheme. It hasn't changed since he got here.

Pete let’s his coordinators have some freedom, he’s all about development in players and coaching staff … Under Gus Bradley we had strategy stupidity, Quinn cleaned it up and blew Gus outta the water, more discipline, better play calling, better all around … When Quinn left suddenly blown coverages started happening, our D started playing sub par … Coordinators are a big deal, if you have a bad one it’s gonna hurt your chances big time … Players gotta step up and play good, but they’re handcuffed being out of position strategically by a bad coordinator…

Getting a bigger break from end of quarter than the offense gave them. They are about to get blown out and they have no answer to address it.

If it truly is Pete's D, then he needs to go, 'cause his decision making as a head coach is atrocious.... so what value is he bringing us?

I get it. Every time this team has issues it is either coordinator that is 80%+ at fault with lip service to Carroll, RS, or other causes.

Norton isn't doing the team any favors, but Carroll and RS have left the cupboard a bit bare (to say the least) having to actually start Flowers? Draft picks fucked away and not nearly enough in FA to make up for bad roster moves. Even letting KJ leave didn't help, no matter what you thought of his age as he was at least on the same page as bobby.

It's a total fuster cluck and everyone knows it. It is much bigger/worse than one coach.

Pete like to run a super basic defense, you all complain about them running a basic defense and blame Norton. Uhm let me explain something to you, our best defenses ran a "basic" defense. They just don't have the talent or intelligence to play this defense. ( KJ would help 10 fold )
