Appears the 49ers will be short handed for week 17.

Apparently Sherman has fallen so far in the eyes of the 9ers org that he doesn't even get top billing in the DB injury report.

I wonder where he will be playing next year?

I think he's done with football and will be a color commentator next year as long as he doesn't grab some woman's butt.

No need for OP to mock them given the circumstances.

Any NFL team however shorthanded, can beat any other full compliment NFL team.

See, Giants game.
Just good old fashion rivalry smack talk. They refer to the Seahawks as Seahags or SeaChickens we refer to them as the 40 whiners or just Whiners. Doesn't really matter if either is up or down as far as being competitive, those sentiments remain the same. It's a lifetime type of thing.

Maybe I'm taking these games too seriously.

They were saying before he went out that he was no longer able to handle single man to man coverage consistently.

I always thought that he was a strong candidate to switch to a safety position with his size and tackling ability but I've yet to hear anything to indicate that this is a possibilty.

That game wears the body down quickly. I don't think he wants to risk further injury.

49ers aren't whining, and the thread title is a bit harsh.
Yes it screams KARMA all over it, we just got jinxed. People never learn.

I Dont think any other team in the NFC west was hit as hard as the 49ers for injuries.

I read San Fran is basically just surrendering and sitting most of their starters lol. I'm not sure what playoff implications this has but the Saints/Seahawks/Packers have not claimed the 1st round bye... can we even still get it?

If I was them, i'd sit Kittles and Deebo for sure... Let them get that extra rest w/out aggravating their current injuries

Looks like Tre Flowers will join the team again after clearing IR... Nice to have some added depth... I like where we're at heading into the postseason... Pray we don't see any injuries today...

Saints and packers both need to lose, so its a longshot.

Yah I guess Snugg... but IF they do and Seattle wins do we get the first round bye? Obviously New Orleans would be 11-5 but we'd be tied with Green Bay at 12-4. Not sure how all the tie breakers work at that point.

Edit: And if the Saints win and Packers lose who gets the bye?

This is all too stressful.... :gaah:

Seattle only get to buy the first round if Green Bay and the Saints lose if the Saints win and the Packers lose the Saints Saints get the first round and if Green Bay wins they get the first round
