It sucks that JJ McCarthy has to sit out for a year, but at least he gets to sit and gain valuable experience this year. He’s in a division with the bears, so he gets to experience a true master play QB two times this year.

True but if Danold is your starter, it shouldn't be that hard to take over.
Tanneyhill is probably waiting for a starter to get hurt.

Darnold played relatively well for Carolina in '22. This might be his best opportunity with Jefferson, Addison and Hockeson.
